Banana Island was inhabited by European communities from the early stages of colonialism. Also it was a major port in the slave trade along with Kent and Bunce Island. As a result there are many historical sites one can visit in the island. Many sites are located in pleasant forest environment. However the interior of Banana Island presents a pefrect example of West African tropic forest. Several paths can take you to the heart or the edges of the first two island. Monkeys, iguanas, small mammals, reptiles and a score of bird (some very rare ones too!) can be seen in the forest of Banana Island. Transfers from Kent, accommodation and meals are included.
